Laser machining can either be used for prototyping or high-precision cutting on thin-film materials with a microchannel as small as 100 micrometers wide. A through-hole with a 50 um diameter can also be achieved. Hochuen has know-how on a large range of materials that can be laser cut with optimal laser parameters. These materials include: PMMA, Laminates, PSA tape, PET, Teflon-based polymer, etc.Edge cleaning following laser cutting for certain materials is also critical in making sure the edge is clean and free of residue.Hochuen is capable of laser cutting one material on the top while the bottom material remains intact.
